2. The Playpora service
Playpora is an online game portal: games run directly in your browser, no downloads. It includes game campaigns with worlds, packs and levels, generated games (e.g. word and archery games), daily and weekly challenges, leaderboards and a shop of game unlocks.
The service keeps evolving; games, worlds, scoring rules and unlock prices may change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the preservation of progress through major service changes.
3. Guests, accounts and Google sign-in
You can play without an account as a guest. Guest progress is tied to a guest token stored in a cookie in your browser; if you delete cookies, guest progress is lost and cannot be restored.
An account is created by signing in with Google. When signing in you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to these terms and the privacy policy; without that confirmation sign-in is not possible. On first sign-in, the guest progress from the same browser is transferred to the account or merged into an existing account.
You are responsible for activity under your account or guest profile unless you prove unauthorised use beyond your control. Protect your sign-in details and devices.
4. Stars, coins and virtual items
Stars are earned for completed levels, coins for first completions, replays and challenges; they unlock more games, worlds, packs and levels or buy items in the game shop. Stars, coins and other virtual items have value only within Playpora.
Virtual items are not money or property; they cannot be exchanged for real money, transferred to another player or paid out. The Operator may reasonably adjust balances and unlocks in case of abuse or error.
5. Acceptable use and fair play
You must not abuse the service: circumvent game or unlocking rules, use automated tools to gain points or currency, scrape data, create multiple accounts to bypass limits, impersonate another person or interfere with the infrastructure.
Results obtained by cheating may be removed from leaderboards and records, balances adjusted, and access restricted or terminated.
6. Leaderboards and public name
Public leaderboards show your public name (first name and the initial of your surname, e.g. “Ján K.”) and your results for that game and period. Your full name, email and profile photo are not shown in leaderboards.
Rankings only count results stored on the server. Results from practice play without a session do not count.
7. Availability, outages and force majeure
The Operator makes reasonable efforts to run the service, but to the maximum extent permitted by law is not liable for temporary unavailability, outages, delays, or loss of progress or balances caused by maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, third-party provider outages (e.g. Google, hosting) or force majeure.
The service is not a substitute for your own backups; account progress is stored on the server, guest progress only in your browser.
8. Changes, termination and contact
We may update these terms; the current version will be published in the service. By continuing to use the service after changes take effect you agree to them, unless the law allows you otherwise.
You may stop using your account at any time and request its deletion using the contact below (gdpr@playpora.com); guest progress is deleted by clearing cookies. These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
